I just saw Star Trek and totally agree. I've never watched any Star Trek franchise film or show, but still knew enough to pick up on the one-liners. Actually, I was really impressed that they were able to incorporate them so well without turning them into hokey homages.

Wolverine was a disappointment for me, mostly because I am all about the purity of the mutants. Scott had ruby glasses after Professor X gave them to him. Emma Frost's diamond form is a secondary mutation developed later in life, while her blatantly absent telepathy is her notable mutation. And Deadpool, who I love and was so excited to see, was nothing like the portrayal.

I want to add to this sci-fi spectacular and bring up Terminator: Salvation. No spoilers yet, but I will say it was good, but not great. Action was good, and characters (not John Conner) were developed well. Action and effects were incredible, plot was okay, and Skynet is still evil.
